Part-Time Police Patrolman
The City of Conrad is accepting applications for a Part-time Patrol Officer. A current MT POST certification is encouraged but not required. The ideal applicant should be interested in working on an “as-needed/flexible” basis. This position works under the general supervision of the Chief of Police or Police Lieutenant and will perform general patrol, investigations, traffic regulation, emergency response, enforcement of city ordinances and animal control. The Part-time Officer will work 0-200 hours per month and the City is willing to coordinate with current employers. This is a part-time job with a limited benefits package and an hourly wage of $17.38 per hour DOE/DOQ. Service Line Protection Available for City of Conrad-MT Homeowners
Conrad, MT – May 24, 2019- The City of Conrad has partnered with Service Line Warranties of America (SLWA) to offer protection for homeowners for the WSL/IPD protection program. The coverage is voluntary and available at affordable monthly or annual prices. If a customer’s line is in need of repair, a simple call to the SLWA 24-hour hotline will dispatch a local, licensed contractor familiar with local code. There are no service fees or deductibles. Many factors contribute to the life expectancy of a service line including the age, type of piping material, soil conditions and installation quality - all factors which are covered through the SLWA protection program. This program is voluntary for homeowners and provided at no cost to the City of Conrad and no public funds are used to promote or administer the program.
